“Your only job is to breathe.”
Just as a I guide my SCUBA diving students to bring awareness to the effect of their breath on the body, so too will I invite you to bring your attention to your breath during sessions.
I may ask you to visualize sending your breath to any point of sensation you feel during your massage. Doing this will help your brain signal to the body that it is free to let go, resulting in a clear and physical change in tension and stress.
